Bodywork Therapy and Structural Integration Built-up soft-tissue stiffness and weaknesses can impair mobility, cause pain, and drain energy. Bodywork therapy, based on postural and functional assessments, is used to relieve built-up tension and restrictions within soft tissue. This, in turn, allows muscles, tendons, connective and other soft-tissue to realign and function optimally. Flexibility is improved and aches and pains are reduced or eliminated. To maintain flexibility, patients are educated on new movement options and given postural awareness exercises. Structural Integration sessions are available to Cross Road Medical Center and North Country Clinic patients. Referrals are available through Dr. Hudson or patients can opt to pay out of pocket for sessions. |
