PROVIDING HEALTH CARE AND HOPE
FOR THE COPPER RIVER VALLEY OF ALASKA

~~ CRMC Mission and Organization ~~

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in order to lead people to Christ, Cross Road Medical Center will provide quality care for the whole person to the maximum extent possible within available resources.

CRMC began as Faith Hospital in 1956 as the medical ministry of Central Alaska Missions, later to become SEND International of Alaska.

CRMC is now organized as an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and is recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Bureau of Primary Health Care. CRMC is overseen by a Board of Directors comprised of Christians from the local community.

At Cross Road Medical Center we:

  • strive to provide excellent medical care,
  • get to know patients and their non-medical needs,
  • follow-up patients by calling and, when appropriate, visiting with them,
  • involve ourselves in community activities,
  • provide long-term and short-term missions ministry opportunities for both medical and non-medical volunteers.
