Cross Road CEO Announcement 8/5/10 - Cross Road Medical Center is pleased to announce the arrival of Joel R. Medendorp as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its operations in the Copper River Basin, including the medical center in Glennallen and the clinic at Grizzly Lake.
Medendorp comes to Cross Road from Leadergy, LLC, a primary care consulting firm where he was the CEO and principal consultant for two years. Prior to his work with Leadergy, Medendorp was the Administrator of Red Bird Clinic on the grounds of Red Bird Mission in Appalachian Kentucky for about ten years. Medendorp has a strong background in strategic planning and primary care operations management. He was a member of board of directors of the Kentucky Primary Care Association and chaired the Technical Advisory Board to the Commissioner of Medicaid for many years. Medendorp is also a published author and has done public speaking in the areas of Management and Employee morale. Medendorp has received a PhD in Health Administration, an MBA in Executive Administration and BS in Health Management. He also has a clinical background, and some of his clinical credentials include Registered Respiratory Therapist, Registered Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist, and Certified Pulmonary Function Technician. |
Sports Physical Clinics in Glennallen, Aug 10,12 & Sep 8,9, 2010 8/3/10 - Cross Road Medical Center will be having Sport Physical clinics in Glennallen at CRMC on August 10 from 9am-5pm, on August 12 from 1:30-8pm, on September 8 from 3-5pm and on September 9 from 1:30-8pm. The cost is $30. No insurance will be charged. Physicals only, no immunizations. Parent/guardian must be present. First come, first served. One Day Sports Physical Clinic in Kenny Lake, Wed Sep 8, 2010 9/1/10 - Cross Road Medical Center will be having a one day Sports Physical clinic in Kenny Lake on September 8th at the Mobile Health Unit parked at the Golden Spruce parking lot at mile 9.9 on the Edgerton Hwy 10:00-12:00 noon, 1:00-3:30 pm. The cost of the Sports PE is $30, cash and checks accepted only. We will be unable to accept charge or debit card or bill insurance cards. This clinic will be for physicals only, no immunizations will be given.
