HRSA New Access Point Grant Awarded to Cross Road Medical Center
Nov 8, 2013 - Cross Road Medical Center (CRMC) is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a renewable, $400,000 New Access Point grant to help fund healthcare start-up costs and ongoing operations for an outpatient center in Delta Junction. Cross Road has been working closely with the Interior Alaska Hospital Foundation (IAHF), a Delta Junction group for almost a year, since the time IAHF members approached CRMC looking for ways to help provide additional healthcare for the Delta Junction area. With this grant, CRMC is required to have a small community health center running in the Delta Junction area by March, 2014. (CRMC and IAHF are still working to start up a pharmacy, as this service is not included in the grant.)
